The Holidays will come and go before you know it, so I’d like to help you get your calendars filled in as soon as possible. Have a look at what is going on at Lake Monticello until the New Year. Dec. 2 Festival of Trees Dinner Dance 
Party from 6 -9 PM at the Ashlawn Clubhouse, 41 Ashlawn Blvd. (Lakeside Restaurant CLOSED for this event). Enjoy a plated dinner, prize drawings, and live music while seated among 25 beautifully decorated Holiday Trees. Contact Alan Stewart to order tickets: 802-272-2595/astewart52@gmail.com.

Dec. 3 Festival of Trees 
Admire the annual Festival of Trees at the Ashlawn Clubhouse on Saturday, 9 AM – 4 PM, and you might win a Holiday Tree! Get a picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus, listen to Christmas stories read out loud, and purchase raffle tickets to win one of 25 beautifully decorated festive trees. The trees come with all decorations, often including valuable prizes and gift certificates! Entrance to this event is free!

Dec. 3 Holiday Home Tour 
Join in on one of the Lake’s most beloved traditions: purchase a ticket and take a peek inside the homes of participating Lakers, fully decorated for the holidays! The self-guided tour is from 12:30-5 PM. At 5:30 PM, gather at the Ashlawn Clubhouse for a raffle of locally made art; raffle tickets are sold at the tour homes. Tickets are available from Yvonne Arcement at yba_cats@hotmail.com / 985- 790-5433 or one of the tour houses. Advance tickets are not necessary; you can purchase a ticket ($10) at any of the tour homes; the tickets include a map showing the location of all the homes. Participating addresses are 57 Bolling Circle, 13 Wisteria Way, 3 Pelican Court, 10 Leisure Court, and 56 Ponderosa Lane. Unfortunately, 36 Out of Bounds Road will NOT be able to participate as advertised previously.

Dec. 4 Fluvanna Farmers’ Market Holiday Edition 
This second annual Holiday Market takes place from 11 AM – 4 PM at the Crofton Plaza. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet up with your neighbors and purchase holiday gifts!

Dec. 6 Trivia is back! 
Enjoy Trivia again every Tuesday at 6:30 PM. The new ‘Geeks Who Drink’ format will have more prizes and more chances to win! Reserve or just show up; we have room!  

Dec. 8 Jingle Mingle 
Meet up with your fellow Golf Club Members for refreshments and great discounts at the Golf Pro Shop. Check your email for your invitation.

Dec. 10 Breakfast with Santa 
Eat until your heart is content at The Pub from 9-11 AM. Meet Santa, color in Monti coloring sheets, and fill your bellies with breakfast buffet favorites. Reserve by calling The Pub: 434-591-0106. 

Dec. 15 Board Meeting 
Join us at 7 PM at the Fairway Clubhouse (51 Bunker Blvd.) for the last board meeting of the year. Sign up to speak by contacting Karis Rivera at krivera@lmoa.org.

Dec. 17 Holiday Artists, Crafters, and Bake Sale
The Five-O Club is hosting a Holiday Market for all of Fluvanna County on December 17, 11 AM – 4 PM at the Ashlawn Clubhouse. Many talented artists and crafters will display and sell great holiday gifts. 

Dec. 17 Holiday Karaoke Ugly Sweater Party The YRF Committee does it again! They are throwing a party you will not want to miss. Sing your heart and strut your tackiest holiday sweater from 7 – 9 PM at the Ashlawn Clubhouse. Enjoy a cash bar, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and prizes for the best sweater! Please RSVP: yrfcommittee@gmail.com.

Dec. 18 LMVFR Santa Parade The Annual Santa Parade is scheduled for 2 PM, organized every year by Lake Monticello Volunteer Fire & Rescue. The parade around Jefferson Drive at Lake Monticello is expected to include Santa, fire and rescue equipment from Lake Monticello and surrounding departments, law enforcement, antique cars, and vehicles representing local service groups. Those interested in participating in the parade should gather at the Ashlawn Clubhouse at 1:30 PM.

Dec. 23 -26 LMOA Offices CLOSED

Dec. 24 Lakeside Restaurant Christmas Eve Dinner 
12 -4 PM at Ashlawn Blvd. Check for the menu (coming soon) and reserve at lakemonticellogolf.org or call 434-589-1019 for more information. The Pub and Golf Course close on Christmas Eve at 5 PM.

Dec. 25 Lakeside Restaurant, The Pub, and the Golf Course CLOSED

Dec. 29 Monthly ITALIAN NIGHTS 
Starting Thursday, December 29, The Pub will serve two Italian menu options with salad and bread for $16.95, and bottles of wine are half off. Italian Night will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays starting at 5 PM.

Dec. 31 Ashlawn New Year’s Eve Party 
Dance all night to the music of Cake Fight. Check for the program (coming soon) and reserve at lakemonticellogolf.org or call 434-589-1019 for more information. 

Dec. 31 New Year’s Eve at The Pub 
We will be open 11 AM – 8 PM with a traditional champagne toast for every time zone starting at 5 PM (when it’s midnight in Istanbul!)

Nov. 25 Due to illness, F.O.G. has canceled, but don’t worry! Stephanie Nakasian and her band will play instead from 6:30-8:30 PM with a holiday sing-along! No cover charge.
